Please read these Terms of Service carefully before purchasing or using the Guarda software. By submitting an order request or using the software, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About Guarda

Guarda is a desktop software application for Windows and macOS that uses artificial intelligence to identify lizard species from photographs. The software is developed and sold by Guarda (hereinafter "we", "us"), operating at giarda.site.

Upon completing payment, you receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use Guarda on up to two (2) personal devices that you own or control.

How ordering works: After submitting the order form on our website, you will receive a payment invoice at your email address within 24 hours. Your software license and download link will be delivered to the same email address within 24 hours of payment confirmation.

The purchase price is $108 USD, a one-time payment. There are no recurring fees, subscriptions, or hidden charges.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with Guarda for any reason within 14 days of receiving your license, contact us at support@giarda.site and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

After 14 days, refunds are issued at our discretion in cases of technical defects we are unable to resolve.

5. Updates and Support

Your license includes all future updates to Guarda at no additional cost. We provide email support for technical issues at support@giarda.site. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

Guarda's AI identification is designed to achieve high accuracy; however, no automated system is infallible. Results should be treated as a strong indicator, not a definitive scientific determination. We do not accept liability for decisions made solely on the basis of Guarda's output.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Guarda shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify existing customers of material changes by email.
